Celebrity status brings with it a kaleidoscope of privileges together, often, with a bewildering array of attendant paradoxical problems.
The privileges are self-evident. Celebrities, by definition financially independent people, are able to do pretty much anything they like - often exercising that privilege as part of their celebrity status. That very 'freedom' can, however, so often be a source of vulnerability. The pattern of doing things because one 'can' - rather than for proactive reasons that fit a plan or strategy - frequently results in a 'disconnect' that produces loss of direction, depression, risk-taking, addiction or existential crisis. The person who appears to have everything can no longer appreciate their contribution to their public or even to those close to them.
Celebrity coaching is Phronim's answer to this 'disconnect' spiral and works by refocusing the individual's rationale into a proactive, strategic process and away from the possibility of passive pursuits of short-term actions. Such coaching is best conducted in surroundings that are at one and the same time safe and secure and also grounded in the kind of 'real-life' that the celebrity may have left behind as their meteoric success escalated. Based in the West of England, Phronim's unique and highly individualised retreat provides such a resource. By no means a 'clinic', this facility caters for only one client at any one time with programmes lasting between two and six weeks and staffed by the very most experienced members of our faculty.
